Notes:

r2l is a set of utilities developed by the haifa linux club to make using hebrew on linux (and other unix based systems) a little easier and (for us) to have fun. it includes:

  • a base library, r2llib, the other components use for communicating
  • biditext, a shared library hooking into X to reverse hebrew strings when drawn to the screen (hebrew is written right-to-left)
  • r2l-plugins, a set of UIs (terminal, gnome and WindowMaker right now) for conveneiently setting the various biditext modes of operation
  • refreshd, a daemon in charge of automagically refreshing the applications' display if the biditext mode changes
  • License: GPL

This project has the following developers:

    New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
