Notes:

The Janus Wireless Project is developing software to provide robust wireless services and mobile IP connectivity to 802.11[a/b/g] network users.

Building robust wireless infrastructure for pervasive network connectivity will require grass roots support and widespread consumer adoption. We believe the best way to encourage consumers to purchase, customize and use wireless networks is by making them simple to access, fun to use, and portable enough to take with you anywhere (a friend's house, in the car, on a trip, etc) while still retaining all of the functionality of a full fledged multimedia / network server.
