Notes: Unified mail, news and advogato/xml-rpc client, which also groks http as a failure mode, and has a front-end to wget as an additional extra. Sounds a bit unfocussed? Not really the UNIX philosophy? Well, its in Yak shearing phase...
It's implemented in scol, which is a simplified tcl dialect implemented in a simplified scsh. There is no formal release date planned, or even intended...
chalst to sye: how do you help this project?
sye to chalst: whatever it takes but i can't promise that my help can be bound to any specific time. and the time now is "Wed Jun 11 13:22:50 EDT 2003"
chalst to sye: Do you know scheme? Are you aware of SAXML? You'll need at least the first to read the code, and since the code is not portable, you'll need to read the code before using it. The second is also advised: advotake was sort of a project in order to learn SAXML. Scheme is easy to learn, btw, there's lots of introductory materials out there.
badvo to sye: yo, sister. how's going with your 'helping' scheme?
