Notes:

Word War vi is a video game for linux I wrote which is ostensibly about the "editor wars" between advocates of "vi" and "emacs", though in reality, this is a kind of "tacked on" scenario. The game is really more a tribute to arcade games like Defender, Scramble, Rescue Raiders, and those type of side scrolling shooters. It's purely gnome code, but on modern hardware runs plenty fast enough, and if I do say so myself, has a pretty cool soundtrack, of which I was the main instigator, and played rhythm guitar.
