Notes:

Secure Locate is a replacment for GNU Locate. Secure Locate indexes your entire filesystem into an database, but when a user uses it to search for files, it will only show them files that they have access to see.

Currently it is distributed with Storm Linux, Debian v2.2(potato), Redhat and Mandrake. Maybe others, I just haven't checked.
