Homepage: http://sf.pm.org/

Notes:

The San Francisco chapter of Perl Mongers holds monthly meetings of three sorts:

  1. Presentations by members on topics of interest
  2. Guest speeches by famous Perl people on their work (at various times we've had Doug MacEachern, Tad McClellan, Chip Salzenburg, and Randal Schwartz)
  3. Informal beer-and-pizza bull sessions

If you live in the Bay Area and have a passion for Perl, join us sometime. :) At the moment, we are one of only two active Bay Area Perl Mongers groups, the other being the Silicon Valley Perl Mongers.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
