Notes: PyWX embeds a Python interpreter into the open source AOLserver.

The project goal is to eventually make Python support equal to the current Tcl API, but we are not there yet. Still, the plugin provides substantial benefits over standard CGI through an enhanced interface to AOLserver's database pools, faster execution, and less startup time. In addition, the Python scripts you run are internally cached to reduce disk read times.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
