Notes:

Monotone is an entrant in the now-crowded field of source-code management systems. Taxonomically, it is most similar to Arch and Darcs, and is distinguished by its rigorously-specified semantics (including its merge algorithm) and its simplicity. A Monotone user checks work into, and updates from, a local repository, and synchronizes that repository on occasion with other repositories via an internet connection.

Written in C++ and depending on only a minimal set of libraries, the less common of which come packaged in the same source tarball, Monotone is fast, easily ported, and very actively developed.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
