Notes:

MatrixSSL is an embedded SSL implementation designed for small footprint devices and applications requiring low overhead per connection. The library is less than 50KB on disk with cipher suites. It includes SSL client and server support, session resumption and implementations of RSA, 3DES, ARC4, SHA1 and MD5. The source is well documented and contains portability layers for additional operating systems, cipher suites and crypto providers.

We have released MatrixSSL as a dual licenced product: GNU and commercial. We feel that the GPL strikes the best balance between open source ideals and commercial needs. Developers of open source projects can freely share their code, while commercial developers wishing to remain proprietary pay a fee for a commercial license. This promotes the development and release of new open source projects using MatrixSSL, but allows an alternative for those developing commercial products.

License: GNU with commercial option

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
