Notes: Latte, the Language for Transforming Text, is a simple and powerful text markup language. It has all the same markup tags as HTML but is much clearer. Latte is also a fully general programming language that lets you place oft-used constructs into user-defined functions and give them descriptive names. Functions also serve to separate content from layout. Latte documents are translated into high-quality HTML by the Latte interpreter, making it a better language for writing World Wide Web documents.
