Kew is a simple embeddable container-based object- oriented language. It is based on Smalltalk and Scheme, and offers a simple inheritance-free object system, compact syntax, and full closures and continuations.
Kew runs inside a container that defines its interface to the outside world. This allows Kew to be embedded in a flexible manner. Kew is also capable of creating its own containers and executing modules inside them - giving "sandbox" functionality. It is intended that Kew will eventually offer a strong security model.
This project has the following developers:
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
