Notes: KPI RoboModerator is a Usenet RoboModerator program. It is not publicly released yet. It is used for some years in KPI campus network already. We were planing to release it with GPL license.

Main goal of this project is automation of moderation process and ability to moderate Usenet from withing any news reader. Any moderatorial or configuration change could be done with a post to the same newsgroup. That post is edited then and changed to official note of moderation "award" or just deleted before it appears in Useet. Moderators use passwords and/or IP binding to authenticate themselves. Every user is registered before he could post to newsgroup. Registration is started when he try to post anything to that group. He must use read e-mail address, but Robo will change it to special one protected from spam. Robo could send additional notes via email. All "awards" are tracked in database. They have expiration period and automatically expired. It user is blocked he can't post to that group any more. You could also use this Robo to block user access to foreign hierarchy.

URL is in Russian and is not contains much useful info. You could contact me on any question in regards to this project.
