Notes:

Grany is features-rich granular media simulator.

Actually this is typically a project for which we tried to use many free software technologies, to learn from them. First, it uses C++ with the STL, templates, multiple inheritance (providing 100% independance between engine and GUI), and flex++/bison++ for files handling. For the GUI, it uses Gtk-- (which is the "main" C++ binding for the popular Gtk+). During development, we used CVS, yet also Doxygen to produce code documentation, and Latex for project report. Of course, internationalization is provided by the GNU gettext architecture.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
