Notes:

Gorille provides a Java library for testing Unicode characters against character constraints in XML 1.0, 1.1, or a custom list. More recent versions of Gorille include an experimental parser which breaks markup documents into textual pieces while building a context object, permitting both textual and structural processing.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
