The translation effort for GNOME is usually discussed on the gnome-i18n gnome org mailing list. To subscribe send mail to gnome-i18n-request gnome org with subscribe in the subject line.

There is a document describing the process of translating GNOME programs at Translating GNOME

We also encourage all package maintainers to send a mail to this list at least two days before release of any GNOME package. This is very important to make sure that the translators have ample time to update their translations.

Part of the project is also to add i18n support to misc apps, plus create scripts to make translation maintaince way easier.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
