Notes:

ELinks is advanced fast evolving text-mode WWW browser. It features support for tables, frames, colors, background downloads, menus and dialogs and tabs, hiearchic bookmarks, cookies, SSL, HTTP and proxy authentication, downloads resuming, and Lua and/or Guile scripting; everything you'd expect from a modern web browser (except JavaScript and CSS, yet).

It also strives for easy and extensive configurability. The browser supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMB, finger and local files browsing (including local CGI support), while the user can define user-defined handlers for any other protocols or URL rewriting rules similiar to konqueror's URL prefixes.

ELinks is originally based on the Links browser. This description applies to ELinks-0.9.0, newer versions are going to be even better! ;-)

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
