Notes:

We need help to finish the DMCA documentary first. We need anyone who has any free video or remixes to add to the copyright dilemma. Any interviews with everyday people, professors or even people in the entertainment industry regarding copyright or the DMCA.

Anything on fan fiction, anything on cease and desists.

Basically, what we need is more film, a few good ideas and people who can also assist with production.

What we have is this:
Dmitry speech - San Francisco
Stallman/Lessig/Perens - San Francisco
Don Marti - San Francisco
Protesters Marching
Robin Gross - Rountable with entertainer, educators at a FreedomFest
Bennett Haselton interview
Dennis Karjala interview
New Yorkers for Fair Use sent in an ogg.

Anyone who can get us video, has video, or who wants to help with editing or ideas on storyboarding, ideas to include in the documentary are more than welcome to join.

We need all the community we can get.
Let's make this a documentary for the community by the community.

License: As far as the license goes, we don't know what license to use as it is video. We don't want to go with commons. I believe the EFF had an audio one years ago, we are looking into it.

License: Not selected yet

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
