Notes: Confix is a build tool on top of GNU Automake and Autoconf, designed to ease the difficulty of writing Makefile.am files by hand. It scans a source tree and generates Makefile.am files and a configure.ac file based on the source files detected. Confix also includes support for driving the build process itself, including options for automatic configuring, making, and installing.
