Notes:

A freeware OCR package.

The first langauges are many of the developers isn't English, so as you'd expect it's good for non-english languages.

Both web, X and batch interfaces.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
