Notes:

Until late in 2000, the online documentation for the Apache Web server was the sole province of the Apache developers themselves, which predictably meant that the docco was perhaps a bit sparse and stale in places and abstruse, terse, and developer-oriented in others. In other words, there weren't any real tech writers working on the docco.

Now that's changed, and the documentation for the Web server has been split off into a separate sub-project, where writers can work on improving it without feeling inadequate because they may not be the best coders in the world.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
