Notes: 9P is a network protocol developed at Bell Labs for the Plan 9 from Bell Labs distributed operating system as the means of accessing and manipulating resources and applications transparently in a distributed environment.

Both client and server implementations exist in a variety of languages: C, Limbo, python, ruby, lisp, tcl, java, C#, etc.

FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
