Notes:

I've contributed very little open-source software so far, but my projects are available on my web-site.

One project is time-tracking program for the Palm OS. I am an attorney, and when I was working at a law firm, I used this program to keep track of all my billable hours (I am in-house now, and don't need to keep track of billable hours, so I am no longer maintaining this project).

Another project is a program to read audio data from a hard-disk formatted with the FDMS-3 filesystem used by Fostex multitrack recorders such as the FD-8. I've got one of these machines, and they record to an external SCSI hard-disk, but Fostex does not support any direct method of getting the audio data to your computer (instead they would have you go through a DAT machine, a sound-card, or some other method which is invariably either (i) expensive, or (ii) of bad quality). I reverse engineered their filesystem and wrote this program so that I can directly read the audio data and produce WAV files from it on my Linux machine.

I have a few other projects sitting on my hard drive that I plan to make available when I get the time.

Also linked to my web-site is an article on patent law that I wrote for Slashdot (it was reprinted by Advogato as one of its first articles).

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
