Today, um...
Did nothing special. I went to cinema: "Ocean's Eleven"... :( Didn't please me a lot. The only thing I found funny is that one of the guys is named "Linus". That made me think about some OS... :-D

Sorry for all this time offline, but I got lots of things to do. Today, I met Fernando and we went to Gesdocument for some pending papers we had. If was a boring morning, but at least I think we will get the things we should have in december...
On the Open Source side, Adriano and me have openend a website for strategic consulting on Open Source in Spain. The beta website is at http://www.arhlabs.com/proyecto and I'm very proud of it. I hope this idea will success in a middle future!
That's all folks!
Today I took coffee with Adriano. We are planning to do something very interesting, with lots of work, lots of proyects and lots of fun!
I'm very happy because of this, but maybe I'll not have as much time as I would like to have for this... Let's start and then we'll see.
I also bought and done some stuff:
- a 128 SmartMedia card for my digital camera
- the CVS pocket reference book from O'reilly
- the Programming Network Apps for PalmOS from O'reilly
- upgrade my website
- prepared some place on my server for "Turismo de Paz"
- upgraded my evolution tribute on my website
Let's spend money!
Today is a great day!
Yes, compared to yesterday... Yesterday we got a deep fog during all the day at Madrid. It was incredible: usually we never got this fog! I was really impressed!
This morning, I woke up with a lot of things to do: some software design, some papers to justify inversions... That's not funny at all.
Right now, I'm on IRC with GNOME-Hispano people: they're really cool! I'm thinking about working on some stuff with them.
Today... A funny day!
Got up late, but have a very profitable day. I forgot to wrote my diary in the morning, and then I writing it right now...
I've almost finished my DLX study to understand on software pipelines on RISC processors and it was really funny!
Read somethign about multiagents and cooperation, and nothing else...
I will start writing on my diary in the morning just because
I'm having problems with the hours... I mean, I'm at GMT-1
and the server must be GMT or GMT+1 so sometimes I write
at 23h00 one day and it's posted the next day so I decided
to write from now in the morning time...
Yesterday was a funny day: did nothing. I had a coffee with
Bohe and we got a coffee rain... Yes: the waiter make us a
really pretty show! Both of us were under the coffee...
:)
Once again, I got up this morning, started up my Evo, my
x-chat and started to navigate... It will be a good winter day.
Maybe I'll take some photos later: I really love Madrid!
I installed xfig and transfig into my notebook. I don't know why this two packages don't come in the base installation of Red Hat... I need this to draw the figures of my article about grafs and AI.
I met jaime on irc.gnome.org! He's a cool guy! It really pleased me a lot to met someone like him. He's the the first one to send a photo to the hackers greeting to Evolution team.
Today, resuming, nothing special. The morning, with lots of
email, and the evening with some things with my AI paper...
Let's see if tomorrow will give us something more exciting!
:)
Some days out for... presents! Here in Spain we have a
tradition that is a little different from the typical: we've
got the "3 magic kings" that come on january 6th with
presents for everybody. Here, in most families, tha Santa
does not come! :)
Spain is "diferente"!
Also yesterday I went to the anual concert that some friends do every 6 january and it was really funny.
I forgot: I also installed GTK+ 1.3 for testing some GUI programming waiting for GTK+ 2.0!!!! I'm very excited.
I also wrote a little website to thank evolution team at: this address
My Dexxa webcam now works after some hacking with logitech drivers... I wrote once again Dexxa people and logitech's ones to ask them for some technical specs.
Hi again,
today I had lunch with Adriano. We have discussed some
interesting projects with a big spanish company and then we
have gone at Juantomas' to carry out the stuff people
donated at latest "Congreso Hispalinux" for the Linux Sin
Fronteras project. Linux sin fronteras means something like
"no frontiers linux", and it's a project that want to make
the world better and lots of things for people that cannot
pay for technology.
The website is at http://www.linuxsinfronteras.org and the
whole project is managed with SourceForge.
You're everyone invited to work with us on this!
Well, time to go to bed: tomorrow will be a hard day!
C2
Well, second day... Yesterday was a long day: I been
programming from 22h00 to 5h30 oclock and this morning I
decided to stay at bed till 12h00 am.
So, another day started very late for me, and did not do a
lot... :) Here, in Spain, we have no men in red on the 25th
december (it depends on the families), and we have the 3
"magic kings" that come on january 6th. So, I've done my
work and bought something for the people I love.
Nothing else. This night will also be very C-working!!!
:)
New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
