Was thinking over Paul Graham's Arc proposal.
I get weird feeling from it.. some of the ideas are obviously right and cute; OTOH the language feels to alien to Lisp. Single-dispatch single-inheritance object system also looks awkward.
Then, if Arc is a scripting language, where all the regexps? Why just don't use the special treatment of combinations again, so that ("foo bar baz" ".*ba") will result in "foo ba"?

Used GPG for a first time. It works! Amazing.

Upgrade to 2.4.10 kernel was abit disappointing: whenever attempt to play a sound is made, system locks up and produces weird noises. Must be due to problems in i810 sound driver. Rolled back to 2.2.18.
