Settled in at UMIST. They really shouldn't give us 10Mbit connections to the 'net. I've been here less than a week, and I've already stayed up past 5am and missed my morning lectures a fair few times. Today I managed to miss the first 'Mathematical Techniques in Computing' - as it was timetabled badly - but I'm assured it was just simple logic. Which is okay.

Excitement.

Bought myself a cd-burner today. This means that I get to do some backing up, and... re-install Debian! Yaay! Fun! *g* I've been meaning to do it for ages; keep putting kernel compiles off, but no longer. v4l and ipmasq *will* be in my kernel (which will be 2.4.0-test8 for the v4l) by tomorrow. :)
