Happy Birthday to me. *grin*

Boy, have I been a distant chump lately.
Been setting up a debian box to start getting my feet wet with php4 with a fellow from public library services.

Lucky bastard gets to play with a quad xeon, fully loaded from gateway computers. Hostname is SUPERCOW if you can imagine. (understand that around these parts, a single cpu xeon is considered impressive. Thus, a quad makes you a godlike deity.)

On a side note, I've come the conclusion as to how much of a trouble it is trying to find a project to start re- acquainting yourself with programming languages that doesn't truly suck. If anyone's looking for someone who has a whole whackload of ambition and drive, but been out of University-level OOP for 4 years, drop me a line. *grin*

more later... and Logic, where the hell are you these days?

Well, logic suggested I set up my advogato profile.
Here it is, in all it's glory. Whee.
While I haven't actually published any open source work yet, I've got a couple ideas kicking around in my head and even some code lurking on my HD.

On a side note, looks like I get to sharpen my teeth on the AS/400 series, now that we're deploying one here.

Mmmm. Green screens.

(what... this is my first entry, I'm just gettin' warmed up!)

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
