      <description>This is my first diary entry, what an emotion!

&lt;p&gt; But let's not joke: I'm just installing icecast on my mini
subnet, let's see how well does traffic control behave in
Linux.  My impression is that you just have to *learn* how
to control it (but FreeBSD pipes are a great thing ;) ).

&lt;p&gt; The MOSIX team today released a new version of their
software, claiming to have addressed their "SYS V shared
memory" problems.  I still have to try the code, does this
mean DSM is on by default?  OTOH, &lt;a
href="http://www.advogato.org/person/ciro/"&gt;Ciro&lt;/a&gt; Cattuto
told us about the wonders (and lack thereof) of non uniform
memory access, so I'm a litte dubious.
