State of theora
Yesterday Monty has posted another status update on the new theora encoder. It's a good summary of what went into the recent 1.1 alpha release, and what there is still to do.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
