A sucky day indeed.
Hm it's been a long time since I last posted a diary entry. At the moment, I'm pretty busy trying to find nice furniture and other things for my new flat. I'm starting to think that it will turn out pretty nice :)
On the coding side, I've been lagging a bit lately, like for the last month or so. I'm in the middle of a rewrite of some parts of Oregano, to make it easier to implement some features but also to maintain the code. I am starting to get the pieces together again, so a release might be possible in a not-so-far future.
That's it for now, I think.
Today I almost finished the wire storage thing I've been working on and it's looking great so far. I'll still have to look through the wire intersection code to make sure it's correct... shouldn't be much work left in that area though.
Next up is part storage, but that will be extremely trivial, now that I already have the wire code. Looks like a release on this side of xmas is possible after all :)
Other than codewise, I'm trying to be az lazy as possible while I still can... In January, I will start working fulltime so I deserve some lazyness now, I think ;)
Wow, after spending way too many days on hacking on a new object storage engine for Oregano, I finally tried integrating it into the main code and... it works! :) I need to polish it a bit, and finish up the implementation, but it feels good to finally have something sane for such an important part of the application.
So, time to catch up on my sleep a bit. The next few days, I will try to finish this so I can get a new release out as soon as possible!
Zzz.
Long time no entry. I've been busy trying to rewrite parts of Oregano, to make it more flexible. It's coming along, slowly but surely :)
It's still too cold outside.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
