I own a small consulting company based in Modi'in, Israel, that creates dynamic Web sites (i.e., sites that use databases to produce non-static content). I also write a monthly column on Web technologies for Linux Journal, and am finishing up Core Perl for Prentice-Hall. Our main platform for deploying software is Apache, Perl, and Linux. I expect to start using Python and the ArsDigita Content System, as well as the Tomcat implementation of servlets/JSPs, in the next year.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
