Notes:

I've been contributing in small ways to many different free software projects since the web was very young. Back in the day, I made NCSA HTTPd viable under Solaris. I've ported CNS and Kerbnet (former Cygnus-supported GPL'd versions of Kerberos 4 and 5) to lots of odd platforms, contributed portability patches to RPM, and have submitted a number of security patches to SSH1 (and would submit a bunch more if I thought any of its maintainers could care less. :-)
