Notes: I'm mostly a mac geek, graphic artist, web designer. I was exposed to open source software through Linux on the 68k macs. It seemed pretty cool until I discovered NetBSD, then I was hooked. I've put NetBSD on a series of Mac, for fun at first until I started working at a small ad agency and set-up a NAT server for their cable modem with a Quadra 650 that was gathering dust in a corner. Needless to say, I can't wait for OS X and the G4 I'm itching to buy. I kick myself for never taking a progamming classes in school (I studied Acting of all things). I've picked up the O'Reilly book Practical C++ Programming and I'm working my way through the excercises in between teaching myself Flash for a project I'm working on for a client and just plain trying to make a living. I'd like to be able to get good enough to contribute to the Darwin project but from where I stand right now, it's just a pipe dream.
