I was wondering where I had seen an advogato gui: gnome-blog. I used it some time ago in one of my blogs but now I can't remember if it's running :(

The big problem is that gdm makes each new login in a new X server, so the vt switch prevents the 3d rotating cube effect or another eye candy :(
