Lately I've been riddled with running numerous errands drawing much time away from each day. Whew.

Most excitingly, Mark's 21st birthday bash was last Thursday. Least excitingly, he threw up in my car. More excitingly, he paid for us to clean it up at a self-use car detailing facility.

A warm hello to anyone reading this.

Today, I was enroute to school (starting day for 3 classes at CSUF), slowing down for a turn, depressing the brake pedal a bit, when I noticed the pedal didn't seem to offer any resistance. Stunned and curious, I hit the pedal again to test and it went straight to the floor board--krikies! The master break cylinder failed. The car will still coast to a long stop with the pedal on the floor. So, using a combination of that and the parking break (thank god for the nice pull-back lever and not a sticking floor kind), I was able to creep the car into a near-by shop. I left the car there, walked a block to a car rental, picked out the cheapest car available and made it to Fullerton 20 minutes into the first class as to not be dropped! Whew.

Luckily I didn't need to stop short and wasn't on the freeway. It seriously happened when no cars were in front of me--at 8:45 in local traffic nonetheless--a good omen of sorts.

Happy new year!

Life is busy these days with school starting tomorrow and a few contract projects underway.

Mail::POPRelay 2.0.0 should be released soon. This new version boasts better support, more efficient run time, updated documentation and generally easier setup.

I'll try not to be as delinquent posting new updates to this diary in the future.

Ciao, Keith

I'm in an exciting mood now since being graced with a visit from my good friend John Beppu yesterday. Not too much went down yesterday so hopefully he didn't leave bored. We added a rather daunting entry to the mightly wiki: ThereIsNothingPythonCanNotDo

Tee hee hee.

Enjoy,
Keith

Today I was delighted to meet w/ my uncle and family for brunch. We had a wonderful time mingling ;)

Last night a friend mentioned that image pages on my personal web site should contain links for the previous and next images in the category. Great idea Matt, you're perfectly correct, so -- consider it done.

I'm in dire need of GoodThinkingMusic

Whoa, I've now become a Journeyer!

My employer has me so busy that I hardly make time for school these days. Please excuse the lack of updates. I'm planning on giving more back to the open source community by GPLing software we've written for the "AmigoBox" that has application in outside envornments. Hopefully more software will post soon.

My site finally has all new imagery from my vacation posted.

Wooooo! I'm back and working on moving pictures from the trip on-line. More to come.

I've been rather delinquent updating my diary lately. Sorry life has me tied up with work and school finals. On a different note; E3 is this week and my buddy Carl hooked me up w/ 2 tickets ;) Thank you Carl! ITamigo (my work) has everyone going to a trade show on wed. to show off our AmigoBox net appliance.

Yay! I'm so excited tonight ;) My work w/ Embedix::ECD begins now. As it stands, my mission is to "create an alternative parser for the ECD format that flies" and improve the Embedix::ECD factory class API. I'll start looking through code tonight and writing small notes here and there. Thank you John for trusting me, I'll put in my best effort and hopefully won't let you down ;)
