Notes: I'm one of the authors (along with Jeremy Blackman of Listar (an open source MLM available at http://www.listar.org) and have been involved in open source software since well before there was such a word (at least commonly used) :) I've also worked with and on various mud servers such as TinyMUSH 2.0 (cowrote with Glenn Crocker), LPMud (maintained and extended LP2.4.5 American), DikuMud/CircleMUD (ported Merc MobProgs to Circle 2.20 and submitted various patches), I have also contributed patches (way way way in the past) to Crossfire and other projects. I was also involved in the past with FSP (I'm not even sure if it's still running as I gave up on it after people decided they were more interested in piracy than in a file transfer over UDP program).
Currently I am working at a startup company doing Network Attached Storage devices on a customized FreeBSD kernel. It's definately quite fun :)
In a very cool move, my work is strongly considering making one of their projects Open Source and want me as the local Open Source advocate to spearhead it. We'll have to see how this goes, but it could prove very fun and interesting. It's cool to work at a place that values/understands my point of view on things like this :)
