Notes:

Currently an undergraduate at University of California, Irvine as an Information and Computer Science major. I live in the ICS House on campus (imagine 17 Comp. Sci. majors in the same house). My day job is at eBuilt. I primarily work on Apache HTTPD Server and APR. I lurk on the Tomcat mailing lists. I hang out on Gale and around UCF.

Well, what's new?

Not much.

8 weeks to go before I graduate. I'm counting the days.

Just did some input filtering changes to httpd-2.0 that'll affect third-parties. Oh, well. That change needed to happen.

Redid flood's website: http://httpd.apache.org/test/flood/ Check it out. I'll probably be rolling a tarball in the next few weeks.

Apache 2.0 Beta is out!

Download it.

File bug reports.

Ahh, another diary entry. What to say?

Took the GRE Comp. Sci. Subject Test yesterday. Had the GRE General Test two weeks ago. Midterms are mostly over (one on Tuesday). So, life slowly returns to its calm and serene pace. Or not.

Been spending time trying to redesign the httpd.apache.org site. It's a mess to say the least. Anakia is nice - Jon and company did a good job.

We're shooting for a httpd 2.0 beta real soon now. Yeah. Greg's right in that we should have released the damn thing a while ago. Oh, well.

Hmm. Ryan tagged 2.0.26 today. Got a minor issue with APR and how it handles waiting processes. Jeff brought it up this weekend. I don't really have a good idea how it should go just yet. The SVN people may have a stronger preference than the HTTPD people. We'll see what pans out. Ryan doesn't like Jeff's suggestion. Hmm.

mod_ssl and mod_proxy are once again happy after my input filtering changes. All looks well for the moment.

Still studying for the GREs... Taking the general test at the end of the month. Then, the CS subject test in the middle of November. Grad school, here I go.

The input filtering rewrite landed in the repository over the weekend. Yea. Now, let's get people to test it out. It passed all of the tests that I could throw at it. Hmm.

Did some cleanups with autconf-2.5+ help text. Looks better now.

Pier and David Reid were in town, so Roy, Aaron, and I hung out with them last night. Went to the beach and dinner. Yeah, that was cool. David and Pier on Pier's motorcycle from San Diego up to Irvine. Oh, that must have been loads of fun.

I need a life...
