Watched the Browns lose again today. Oh well.

Did a splash screen hack for gsm last night/this morning. Blah blah blah.

Going skiing in Vermont for a few days with some friends. Be back on Thursday or something. Guess the gnome-core release announcement will have to wait until then.

Spent some of the day hacking the infamous menu.c. Now it doesn't compile, and crashes a lot. But some of the code is nicer now. Tomorrow is another day...

Finally got a haircut today, too. Something around 6 months since the last one.

Also it seems I don't have a schedule for next semester anymore; cool.

Back at home now. Hacked Elliot's key patch thingie to be a bit configurable, but the UI sucks. No grand ideas on making it nice yet though.

The gnome-core's need a new release, probably, should probably do that tomorrow.

Wrote my last final today. Not too good, not too bad. Looking forward to going home somewhat.

Played around with the GNotes applet. I am thinking of writing a new notes applet with the canvas or soemthing.

Elliot sent me his windows-key-to-panel-menu code. Made it work somewhat and comitted. Too tired to make it work nicely.

Hmm I thought I did this already tonight.

Anyway last (second) final tomorrow. I wonder what stuff is on it. We did some weak semaphore stuff in ML that people did not understand, which implies I have learned something this semester. Which is good.

Did a new bug-buddy release. I realized that there ended up being a lots more stuff in the ChangeLog than in the News file. I have to split the debian BTS code off a bit more. Still not excited at all about doing bugzilla.

Eek. 6 AM.

More bug-buddy stuff. The too-many-packages-in-potato thing is now a non issue, as it uses Miguel's GtkComboBox from Gnumeric. Still don't have the text selection working in it, though, but that doesn't seem to be happening tonight. Plus it seems that gPhoto now supports bug-buddy. The excitement just never stops.

On the positive side cokes etc. are $0.35 this week, as it is finals time.

Finally got a gnome-help-browser stack trace, unfortunately it is not all that meaningful to me.

More fun stuff with the bug-buddy. It now can submit stuff to bugs.debian.org and bugs.kde.org. There are a couple of issues though, one being that there are too many packages in potato to put in the GtkCombo's list.

I'm now using the minimalist sawmill theme.

2 more finals and i am done with school for the year. I remember in elementary school saying "see you next year" and stuff, now it would be like "see you next millenium" which is scary.

Saw Bowfinger yesterday. I laughed and ate some fried rice.

Hacked another bug-buddy release out. I am now not embarassed by the gui so much.

Also I got maybe most of the GNOME ftp reorg done. I have to do some scripts or something but the boring stuff seems to be done.

Back to school after a nice break. Had a good time with my friends, parents, and dogs.

Since returning I hacked a bit on bug-buddy. The package version code is revamped, and I think it is a lot better. Seems to work on slack, red hat, and mandrake. I guess I installed mandrake over my potato instead of corel, so I'll have to reinstall potato tomorrow.

My coke suppliers were all unavailable, so I am tired now.

...and I still haven't been able to get gnome-help-browser to crash.
