Novice. Very interested in participating in an Anti-Mac parser project. I'm a student of Physics Engineering at the Chalmers university of technology in Sweden. For the summer, however, I'm helping some friends with building a wine-cellar on the countryside. (Or a small scale dungeon, as my friend David put it. The Treasure of the dungeon is clear, but what is the Monster?)

Back in Gothenburg after having spent time on the countryside during the summer. I have one year left on my education and hundreds of things I'd like to do on my spare time. And tons of exciting subjects for my Degree project pop up all the time. It might be a luxury problem but I still agree with Kirkegaard when he says that the oppurtunity of choice is what gives humanity it's anxieties.

Anyway: any Journeyer+ that needs help on a anti-mac parser project ? Then Mail me

Today I met a friend at the university and we started discussing knowledge-building within the field of physics. I've been thinking about creating some kind of virtual physics-teacher/tutor/referencework as my Degree project. Ideally, I would create the infrastructure or backbone needed to enable anyone to contribute to the work in an open-source manner. However the idea is just fresh, and not yet investigated in detail. I believe the hard task is to create a flexible but yet simple environment for both learning and contribution.

I would like to send a big greeting to all the free software community from the voov-experience trance festival in germany. Keep up the free work!

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
