Spent much of the day in a half awake, but what else is
new. I'm
pretty sure I passed a test this morning, atleast I remember
making
it to the test, so that's atleast half the battle I
suppose.
I became slightly bored this afternoon and wrote a tiny
webserver as an exercise, it works quite well
actually.
I've also been playing this evening with GnuPG. I decided my
1024bit
key wasn't really good enough, so I revoked it. I've been
playing
with larger keys and have found that 4096bit keys are
SLOW. It took 37 minutes to generate a keypair on a
p2-233 and took roughly 20 seconds to send an encrypted
email to myself. I'm generating somewhat smaller keys now.
I'll probably endup settling on a 2048 bit key, but 3072
might be speedy enough for my taste.
