Preparation for the release of Mutella 0.4.0 is nearly ready. The new web interface looks good, if I do say so myself, and it's still rip-roaring fast.

Next, we'll trouble ourselves with ensuring that we support Ultrapeers and GGEP, just to make sure we stay current. As Gnutella clients go, many of them may share our features, but ours you can run for 24 hours a day and access it from anywhere, leaving it in the background as an engine, without having to worry about trying to retrieve a desktop session or have anything other than ssh and screen running.

It needs more users. It needs more testers. It even needs more developers. But it's a good product, and I hope that soon, people will see that.

Currently working on the Mutella client on sourceforge; I've just taken over the project from Max.

I've completed a Darwin port of mutella, and am just getting up to speed on bringing it up to date in terms of network capability.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
