Notes:

I am a developer at mozilla essentially handling the networking shtuff... I designed and worked on the pluggable protocols architecture for mozilla and have mainly been working on the HTTP handler.

There are other little things here and there that I have contributed to, and am continuing to, and I could tell you but I would have to kill -9 u ..... ah wait, thats a bad ripoff...

Been a while since I updated advogato. Oh well, been busy :-) If you use a wireless card on a linux laptop then you'd like a script I wrote recently. Get it from selector.py It tracks the signal strength as reported by iwconfig and on reaching a threshold can trigger a reacquire which for most cards automatically picks the strongest signal base.
