Notes: I'm a lazy programmer. I wouldn't call myself a hacker (the nice kind, of course), I'm too lazy to beat my head against some problems for very long.
I lust for freedom, and daydream about people taking responsibility for their own words and actions, and helping like minded folks do the same.
I love coding. I really like being able to make computers do what I want. I like games, sometimes. Coding has supplanted games as of late. I game when I'm depressed. Weird, really.
I have a strange belief that people who are really motivated will strive for their own freedom and help others to get there as well. I want to design and create apps that allow people to setup networks of their own, and have secure and private communication, as well as public communication.
And that's it.
But, I'm more worried about the group client features, and the net community features than the actual communication. Oh well.
Cosm is coming along well. We had a demo a week ago, it was good, but it's just a start. Time to go back to work.
Trust and cryptographically "secure" (moderate safety") systems for the average user. How do you implement such a system?
Adhoc networks on the internet. How to make them secure, and have a pseudo-trust system. How to build internet communities more easily.
How to build a trustless data handler for sensitive data. The main problem is with the users private key.
Need to find and befriend a crypto-wonk. Or learn more.

FOAF updates: Trust rankings are now exported, making the data available to other users and websites. An external FOAF URI has been added, allowing users to link to an additional FOAF file.
