Well I haven't had much time outside of work to do much of anything. Wow...its been awhile since I posted here last.
I have been working on a web kickstart generator. It takes a file that looks very similar to a solaris jumpstart and converts it to a kickstart for our customized version of Red Hat Linux. Tonight I added the ability to kickstart stock Red Hat Linux. I really like how the person that started it layed everything out in a very easily extendable fashion and its all written in python. How I do so enjoy python programming.
I also have a plan to write an XMLRPC app that is able to remote manage our customized version of Red Hat Linux, but should probaly be able to be used for stock Red Hat Linux. I would like to write most of this this summer while I might have alittle time.
For people that may be interested in stitch as I think there might be one or two. I haven't been working on it at all really. After I realized that there is at least one utility that already does backups in the fashion that I was implementing I haven't really been that motivated. If there is anyone who would like to pick up the project just email me at elliot at bentlogic.net. Also I would like to get an idea if there is anyone interested in stitch as I may start working on it again if there is enough interest.
