ARRRgh !!!

Such amusements me life is made up of, for we be sooo blessed every day.

Hmmm, Oracle RMAN and rapid recovery of VLDBs running on NetApp FAS storage. Large scale deployment of VMware instances with thin provisiong in a CIFS environment.

An Army of One. Be All You Can Be.

; )

Go Farther, Faster...

P.S. Where's the free software ???

OpenFiler, Linux, BSD, Nagios, MRTG, DNS, SMTP.

Ain't life grand ?

Luke - I couldn't be safer any other place. I'd come visit 'ya, but they might arrest me again for that ! Thank you for the link to the Mod Challenge. I wrote to Susan that it seems you always come up with threads that interest me.

I'm currently teaching as Guest Faculty at the US Army School of Information Technology at Ft Gordon, GA...

New gig is teaching NetApp courses.

Went to Eclipse this morning to review the Aperi Storage Management Project.

I was surfing over to SourceForge this evening to take a look at FGL.

I couldn't help noticing something at the bottom of the page, under top downloads:

As much as companies like MediaSentry and MediaDefender, never mind the RIAA and MPAA might like to wish otherwise, p2p keeps growing.

Three of the current top five downloads at SourceForge are p2p apps - eMule, Ares Galaxy, and Azureus

Ha.

Ahhh, the good old days of the 'net! : )

P.S. apenwarr - I'm currently available.
I'd take that Genius, etc... title in a hot second, and be happy with it.

I've made it a point to read Advogato lately, and I'm not impressed.
( yes, kiddies, I'm probably just the kind of guy you'd want to impress, if you wanted real work in the industry. )

This is a 'free software developers advocate site'.

WTF do the recent entries on Anime or Apple's latest crap iPhone invention have to do with free software ?

Maybe the syndicated feed posting option is a bad idea ?

BTW, my wife recently sent me a link to some real inovation: TORPARK - a version of firefox that uses TOR.

Screw you later...
