Notes:

Currently I am working on several projects in my spare time:

  • I've been working on Jabber, generally helping out, causing distractions, and basically trying to make it the best product it can be.
  • Specifically, I've been working on JabberBeans, a set of java classes for interfacing with Jabber. The design is not to make a chat applet framework, but a full customizable middle layer between an application and the jabber network. I hope it gets used for a lot of things when it is done besides chat.
  • linux-usb has gotten a lot of effort from me in the past, although I've been lurking lately. The speed at which this project has matured is really incredible to me.

Wow, been a while since I have had a chance to post a diary entry.

School is just <u>too</u> stressful right now. I think I'm going to crack under the pressure rather soon.. just too much going on. 48 hours on campus for classes + 40 hours required for classword + 15 hours a week at my job leaves me little time for working on my jabber stuff, or anything besides sleeping and eating.

Jer has been living life way too peacefully as of late because of the amount of work I've been putting into classes. I'm going to have to find something to bug him about soon.

On the upside, there appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel coming up soon. By the end of the week, I'll either be caught up in all my classes, or I will have died trying. Hopefully the former, but with the amount of work I've put into classes recently, I'm starting to be impartial.

This is just a simple diary entry to get started. The last three weeks school has been hitting me really hard, and I haven't been able to work on any of my 'cooler' projects, such as java-mass. I haven't even been able to annoy Jer as much as I would normally. =(

Oh well, still on track to have java-mass finished for the release of Jabber 1.0
