I have coded all the holidays on OPAL to improve SIP support and fix various problems. I have almost finished adding support for RFC3842 (Message Waiting Indication when you receive a Voicemail). I'm testing this with Asterisk, but unfortunately it is not always compliant. I have also added the ability to use several registrars at the same time. Those 2 new features do not exist yet in any SIP softphone under Linux.
I'll be speaking in Geilenkirchen at the Open Source Telephony Summit this week end. I hope the summit will be a good opportunity to progress on OPAL and on GnomeMeeting SIP. I also need to submit a GUADEC paper in time...FOSDEM
We have finally received the bios and pics for all speakers, we will start working on the definitive schedule soon. Don't forget that there is a GNOME developers' room with a specific schedule this year, so if you want to present a talk, it is not too late yetLife
Is there a life besides adding SIP support in GnomeMeeting?
