I was having a deep search in some .Net docs at MSDN Site (sicen Mono in platform we have not enough info yet), and saw a section, called Coding4Fun and see some examples of small apps using System.Windforms.
Then I had the idea to create a GUI-based app that updated the MONO CVS Tree (and optionally other modules, as monodoc/ and gtk-sharp/, for example). So I will begin to look at this an will try to begin with this as possible as time is avalaible, and try to integrate it to my own Knoppix based sistro (an idea I'm having some time ago). Of course, it will be based on Gtk#.
By the way, I have just sent my PInvoke article to Linux Gazette (my post at the site was rejected cause the article was incomplete -I mean, I gave a link and not the article itself-). I hope better news this time ;)
Finally, I found some cute apps: the Gnome Network App (a set of apps that implements some functionality about networking, such graphical shell for Telnet/SSH, and other interesting stuff). I don't remember the link but is can be found at the Gnome site.
The other interesting app is CSharpStudio, a GUI based editor for C# (using Gtk# lib). It looks good.
PD - I have just tried to compile the last mentioned app and failled to compile ... I begin to have porject that simply doesn't compile ... Java Gtk, CShar studio, ANTLR ... bad bad bad
