Theres nothing new in my life ;) Well, i am writing code so far. And I am happy with myself to have so much learned about application design.

Here are some changes. I had to switch to a license by myself, as GPL allows commercial redistribution and i dont want that. If anyone knows an opensource license, that does not allow commercial redistribution but keeps the opensource idea, please tell me. holaCMS now features a brand new filemanager, as the old one was really bad in design. Having a manager for creating files, delete and images-upload and another manager to edit the content is a really bad idea. Too much time consumption. Also there is now voting and RSS included, lots of bugs fixed. I am really happy with this release. Until i will add new features to holaCMS 1.4.5 I will release a 1.4.4 version with lots of enhancements, tweaks and bugfixes.

I rewrote it using NetBeans on my MacOSX. And I finally found an embeddable database fitting my needs: HSDQLDB. Its completly in Java and I can access it via JDBC. The most important part is, that I can pass it without bothering the User with installation issues. Menu Thingy, Kennel creation and Adding and Listing Dogs in order by sex (tab panes) is now working too.

Gandalf left the team because of his lack of time. But goth and others are doing great work in FreeCNC now. I was planning to try out Stratagus with C&C graphics but i had no time left.

I always missed GQview on OSX. There was something similar but it was shareware and had imho a badly design surface. So i hacked together a Java Clone of GQView. It can do the basics :) jGQview Download, Screenshot.
