I've been lazy over the last few months. I hope I'll be able to post more entries in the future. /me is a bad boy

MONO:
Last month I've been contributing some code for the System.Drawing namespace. It was quite trivial because it's just about copy 'n paste. The real implementation will be a lot more harder.
I'm quite happy with the progress of MONO in general; it's now selfhosting even under linux. Congrats to all the cool hackers who have made this happen!

GNOME 2.0:
I would have never thought that the major release of GNOME would be that cool. Nautilus just kicks ass as for its speed. It's finally usable. It still lacks lots of cool features, but for me stability is more important than feature richness. The rest of GNOME 2.0 is also quite nice. 2.0.1 should contain more features, though. Some nice ones haven't been ported (and some will never be, so it seems).

GUADEC:
Just two more weeks. I'm really looking forward to it!!

Birthday:
March 26th = currentAge++
I'm getting old!

University:
I passed 2 tests (yes!!), but there are still 2 to go. I'm currently learning for these. Sometimes it's fun! In the summer semester there's a C++ "Praktikum". I'm glad that I've the possibility to attend it. C++ is one of the languages I still have to learn.

Ruby:
I'm learning this awesome cool language. It's a just-for-fun attempt, but since it's so nice it'll certainly my scripting language for the future (somehow, I never really understood python).

German translation project
All I can say is that it's much work. We managed to welcome some fresh members in our team. But it's hard work to organize the team (+ that's not my duty at all!).

LIFE:
Ah well, the last few weeks were quite cool. I:
o went skiing
o went to a LinuxTag in Chemnitz
o annoyed some GNOME hackers with my silly questions ;-)
o was always thinking about reinstalling my server, coz it's always crashing, which is really bad!

That's all for now, though I'm certain that I forgot a lot of things! Kick ass!
