I'm a Debian GNU/Linux developer and maintainer of GIMP, GTK+, Nethack, APT, and other fun packages. Currently, I'm a student at University of California, Santa Cruz, entering my fourth year studying computer science and Japanese and planning to graduate in the spring of 2001. When I'm not studying, I'm working at IBM on a few cool Linux distributed filesystem projects, doing kernel work in C and client work in Java. I hang out on EFnet IRC's #Perl a lot, and love to help folks out with learning Perl and solving their tricky programming puzzles.
